Lithops fulviceps     10/24/20
This pack of plants bloomed weeks ago. I thought they were done. You can see the spent flowers, maybe seed pods (= fruit) of the future. But, here are three new flowers. The local deer mouse population likes eating my Lithops. There is one obvious bite at the top of the picture. Happily, Lithops are leaf succulents. They replace their fat bodies (leaves) with a new body (leaf) every year, so the mouse damage disappears. Until the next mouse bite. I've killed, by trapping, about 50 mice among my plants this past year.   (37/48)
