Turbinicarpus krainziana minimus MG1288.76    8/4/21
This is a silly picture, but since I choose the pictures, I can pick my favorites. I have had this collection of plants (the one big and the several littles) for about 15 years, and I've never been able to make seeds. The pot that you can see is my usual 2.5" (6 cm) pot. Look at the big plant. There is a ripe fruit (red) and a ripening fruit (green). Finally, seeds. I actually never was aware until last year that I had two different plants present. I finally got small flowers of the the other color. Usually, two different flower colors means two different plants capable of reproducing. Neither the plant nor the flowers are noteworthy, but I've finally figured something out. No other reason for being alive.   (088/112)
