Echinofossulocactus phyllacanthus 'grandicornus' SB437 Huizache MG299.14     12/22/19
There are a number of plants of this genus flowering right now. Most of them are in a big cloche that I build between my greenhouse and my garage every fall. This space is heated only by the heat leakage through the garage and greenhouse walls. The cloche doesn't get as cold as ambient, but it spends most winter nights below freezing. The Echinofossulocacti are in the warmest (south facing) spot, so they think it's spring.   (09/24)
