The odd Oreocereus
This is the plant that I would like to convince someone is a new species. I got the plant as a seedling from Indian Rock , of Vista, CA in 1976. I was in Salem, Oregon that year. Indian Rock had a greenhouse complex in Woodburn, OR, just north of Salem, for raising seedings in the cool of the Pacific Northwest. By the way, this means that I’ve managed to keep this plant alive for 41 years. It’s now over a meter tall in a 2 gallon pot, in which it’s been for more than 20 years.   (06/48)
