My friend, Ralph Peters of Albuquerque, has encouraged me to write a more general article about transplanting and growing tiny seedlings. I have had a discussion with him and Steven Brack over the years. This article is related to my last (long-winded) article on growing seedlings, starting with seeds; it is titled "Growing Cacti from Seeds". The pictures above are of seedlings some months after seeding. The theme is - I always learn something new when I do another seed sowing. Even after these almost 50 years of sowing cactus seeds, the new lesson is always profound.
