Lobivia ferox (two tone)     6/11/22
I crossed a two-tone plant with a white plant and this two-tone seedling was produced. This is the only one of the bunch of seedlings that bloomed this summer. Maybe the others will flower next summer. I'm happy that the two-tone thing was captured in my crossing. At least it happened once. The pot is 2.5" (6 cm). I think that this species is a real marvel. It blooms when very small, and never stops as it grows to a soccer ball (football in the not-American world) size, or more in maybe five more years, Lots more flowers are produced in the process.   (17/48)
