Ferocactus latispinus 11/10/21
And, it has a very pale yellow flower version. The spines here are also much lighter than in the previous picture. Since I now have more seeds than I know what to do with for this species (one fruit had more than 10,000 seeds last year), I'm going to explore the connection, if any, between flower color and spine color.
