Astrophytum asterias 'Super Kabuto'     9/27/21
This plant is a wonder to me because of its continual summer-to-fall flowers. My first picture of this plant in flower (it was then very small, of course; the pot above is 6" (15 cm) in diameter) is from June 2011. Therefore, I've been able to keep this plant alive for a bit over ten years. I have since lost probably 25 plants of the species (Astrophytum asterias). I don't know why I've managed to kill them all and I don't know why this one plant hasn't croaked as the others did. I have about 50 more seedlings coming up. I wonder if I can keep any of them alive for more than a year or two. (25/32)
