Echinocereus scheeri gentryi MG256.5     5/6/20
This is the only true night blooming Echinocereus that I own. It may be the only one in the genus, unless some other E. scheeri has a similar habit. The flowers open late afternoon and stay open a couple of hours after sunrise. This is another species that responded with a huge flower show after my constant attention with fertilizer last summer.
