Echinocereus X ? ("orange hybrid") 4/22/20
I made this hybrid more than 15 years ago. It breeds true. That is, the seed come up eventually producing plants with flowers that are the same as the parent flowers. I've never seen this flower with a deep pink throat before this year. I have several plants giving this flower. Probably some more hybridization has happened. I can't stop the local bees from visiting my cacti when they're outside for the summer. (05/56)
