Rebutia muscula 6/22/18
You all see the word "muscle" in the specific name, but it actually is "mouse." The Greeks and Romans ("mus"; I can't figure out the real story) called the bicep "muscula" because it's motion on flexing resembled a mouse under a blanket. "Mouse" makes more sense in rational botany. (06/40)
