Lobivia haematantha rebutioides 2600m, MG539.21     7/5/17
I didn't see the pollen-covered bee in the lower flower until I looked at the picture. The red flower is also from this species. The name "haematantha" means blood red flower. The "rebutioides" says "It looks like a Rebutia to me." "Lobivia is of course an anagram for Bolivia, which seems to be the home of very many Southern Hemisphere cacti, kind of like Mexico is for the Northern Hemisphere.   (20/32)
