Neoporteria curvispina 8/27/16
A rare sight, I think. A ripe fruit is present when flowers are still forming. The fruit is the brownish thing to the right of the flower. I collected the ripe seeds right after taking the picture. The spines of this species are quite variable. Compare the spines to those of the plant earlier in this set and to the spines of the plant in the July 4 set. (31/32)
