Winter flowers, showing some of the plant. The more I raise this genus from seeds, the less I agree with Fred Kattermann’s lumping them into Eriosyce. In fact, I think that the original splitting of the genus seems more sensible. I think that taxonomists should look at the seedling stages of plants to make more sound decisions about genera. (08/30)
