xmas cactus (Schlumbergera probably in the truncata group) 2/8/2014
These are such odd plants. I bought them in December at a Smith’s market. It had about 200 buds, about 50 of which bloomed over a week, the rest then dropping off. A typical behavior (??). Then, untypically, I noticed new buds coming at the end of January on two of the plants, and here is the first flower of this second flush. (14/17)
