I don't know what this is. It may be an E. x lloydii/E. x roetteri hybrid. I made no seeds from it last year. The flower color is worth capturing, so I have been crossing it with anything I think might work. Actually, I'm hoping for dumb luck. The real reason is that these flowers stayed open for 13 days, something I've never seen before. Other known roetteri/lloydii hybrids have stayed open for a week or so. I was going to show you the flowers after 13 days, but I kind of mangled the poor things over those 13 days with my paintbrush containing various pollens. They were no longer pretty.   (12/56)
