M. guelzowiana (nipple, rooted.)    
In the previous picture gallery, I told you about how I found a rooted nipple that became the plant I photographed. Recently I was rifling through my pictures looking for something, and I stumbled onto this picture. I had forgotten I had it. This is a different Mammilaria, but you can definitely see several roots coming out the bottom of the nipple. You can barely make out two hooked central spines and a bunch of fine radial spines. (Sorry about the crummy picture, but this is for science.)   (48/48)
