red sport Echinocereus viridiflorus DJF1415 MG283.625     5/19/18
This year I managed to coax 20 flowers at once out of this original sport. I have 16 more plants with this strange flower color, for a viridiflorus. ("Virififlorus" means "green-flowered." I only occasionally see a flower of this species that touches on green. Yellow is by far the dominant color among my very many (300?) plants of this species.) Red, as above, has been unknown before my original sport.   (72/72)
