Coryphantha elephantidens     1/18/18
I'm starting new seeds again. This is one of 128 cells of seeds I've sown this winter. Germination and early growth happens in my house under LED lights. Most cells have several to a few dozen growing seedlings. It's taken several years to get a goodly number (about 200) of seeds from my eight Coryphantha elephantidens plants. Germination seems to be close to 100%. This is unusual in my experience. I must have fed the parents very well when they were forming seeds. The pale brown things are the seed husks and the pale green/white things are emerging seedlings. I have already thinned the crop by transplanting most of the seedlings to other quarters.   (24/32)
