Lithops oetziana SH531 MG1686.14     11/08/2016
This is why I hate deer mice and packrats. I trap them constantly, but the local supply of them seems to be infinite. I don’t know why they like to eat my plants. These two plants will recover their former beauty starting real soon. All Lithops species eat themselves during the winter, generating a brand new set of leaves by spring. They don’t even need any water to speak of. They recycle the water they contain along with the rest of themselves. Lithops are a truly interesting group of plants.   (26/32)
