Trichocereus purpureopilosus at 11 AM     9/17/16
This is a small plant, about 4” (10 cm) tall, with an amazingly outsized flower. The plant grows to a stem of about 12” (30 cm) in a few years, and it makes several offsets, which also generate flowers. The flowers don’t get much bigger than what you see here.   (17/40)
