Neoporteria curvispina 8/7/16
Another species I’ve fallen in love with. My three plants have given so many flowers this summer that I’ve been able for the first time in eight years to make seeds, which I collected yesterday. This is the biggest flower by far among my Neoporterias. The flowers open and close for several days. The plant body that you see below the flowers is about the size of my two fists. (21/32)
